A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME GB
Hi! My name is Sarah and I’m a self employed photographer and have been since 2007. I have been addicted to photography since I was a little kid; I saw my dads equipment and my eyes caught fire. That fire has not been extinguished to this day.
I love people photography because I love to show souls, smiles and personalities.
I create memories because with my pictures I can freeze time and I definitely can say that in each photo there is my whole heart and all of my passion.
When I was a little girl my dad had photo equipment with lots of filters and lenses at home. I was so fascinated by his equipment that I fell in love with photography.
The day I started taking pictures myself, my dad stopped taking pictures. He didn’t want to teach me anything either, because I was supposed to learn it myself. The way how he acted was the best way to encourage my own creativity.
I have never taken a photography course or anything like that. I tried it until I got the photo that I wanted. I learned all by myself. Same with editing.
I started my own business in 2007 because I had a lot of requests for wedding photography. In April 2007 I got self employed.
I already did my personal perfect shot. The photo of Kadel in thunderstorm and lightning touched me (and many others too) deeply.
Pictures are memories that never come back. I took the very last photos and memories of people before they left this world without knowing it before. That’s why my job is so important and sometimes unaffordable.
Through football photography I made contacts and friends all over the world. I am incredibly grateful for all the encounters and conversations. Some Models have also become friends for life.
I can freeze time with my photos. Without me, many moments would not even be noticed.
I have not yet received a NO to football photography inquiries. I am extremely grateful and happy to be invited to every stadium. And for all the love I always got and get on sidelines.
This year (2021) I was able to give many autographs for the first time. All fans or followers wanted a selfie with me. That was completely new for me. I am such a blessed girl and that made me speechless.
I love making of photos and videos. They show other people how I really work. A look behind the scenes shows so much more.
To get an extraordinary picture, I (and of course my models) have to go extraordinary ways. But these are always rewarded with a great photo. For example a sunrise shoot in an ice cold mountain lake.
I’ve already taken a lot of crazy photos, had a lot of crazy people in front of the camera, but I still have a lot of ideas open. So stay tuned everyone.
Football stadiums are a place where I always feel at home.
Photography makes everyone creative. I get new nicknames every week. I feel honored and amused about all the creativity of my followers or supporters. Thank you for every name. Hallo. Mein Name ist Sarah und ich bin selbstständige Fotografin seit 2007. Ich bin schon als kleines Kind süchtig nach Fotografie gewesen, als ich zuhause die Foto Ausrüstung meines Vaters sah. Meine Augen fingen sofort Feuer. Dieses Feuer ist bis heute nie erloschen.
Ich liebe vor allem Personen Fotografie weil ich es mag Seelen, Lächeln und Persönlichkeiten zu zeigen. Ich liebe es für andere Menschen Erinnerungen zu erschaffen, da ich mit meinen Bildern die Zeit anhalten kann.
Etwas, dass ich definitiv sagen kann: in jedes meiner Fotos lege ich mein ganzes Herz und meine ganze Leidenschaft für die Menschen und die Fotografie.
Als ich ein kleines Mädchen war, hatte mein Vater eine große Fotoausrüstung zuhause mit vielen Filtern und Objektiven. Ich war schon immer so fasziniert von seiner Ausrüstung, dass ich schon sehr früh Feuer fing für die Fotografie. An dem Tag, an dem ich anfing, selbst zu fotografieren, hörte mein Vater auf zu fotografieren. Er wollte mir selbst nichts beibringen, weil ich es selbst lernen sollte. Die Art und Weise wie er handelte, war der beste Weg, um meine eigene Kreativität zu fördern und zu entdecken.
Ich habe noch nie einen Fotokurs oder ähnliches besucht. Ich habe alles selbst versucht, bis ich das gewünschte Foto hatte. Nach dem Motto: Learning by doing. Ebenso auch bei der Bildbearbeitung.
Ich habe mich 2007 selbstständig gemacht, weil ich sehr viele Anfragen für die Hochzeitsfotografie hatte. Im April 2007 habe ich mich schlussendlich selbstständig gemacht.
Ich habe schon mein persönliches perfektes Foto fotografiert. Das Foto von Kadel bei Gewitter und Blitzen hat mich (und viele andere auch) tief berührt. Die Stimmung auf dem Foto war überwältigend.
Bilder sind Erinnerungen, die nie wiederkommen. Ich habe die allerletzten Fotos und Erinnerungen von Menschen gemacht, bevor sie diese Welt verlassen haben, ohne dass ich es vorher wusste. Deshalb ist mein Job wichtig und oft unbezahlbar.
Durch die Football Fotografie habe ich Kontakte und Freunde auf der ganzen Welt geknüpft. Ich bin unglaublich dankbar für all die Begegnungen und die vielen Gespräche. Manche Models oder Spieler sind auch Freunde fürs Leben geworden.
Mit meinen Fotos kann ich die Zeit einfrieren. Ohne meine Fotos würden viele Momente gar nicht wahrgenommen werden.
Ich habe noch kein NEIN zu Anfragen zur Football Fotografie bekommen. Ich bin sehr dankbar und freue mich, dass ich in jedem Stadion willkommen bin. Ich bin ebenfalls dankbar für all die Liebe, die ich immer bekomme wenn ich an der Seitenlinie stehe.
In diesem Jahr durfte ich zum ersten Mal viele Autogramme geben. Viele Fans oder Follower wollten ein Selfie mit mir. Das war für mich völlig neu und überwältigend. Ich bin so dankbar, dass ich Menschen glücklich machen kann und das hat mich absolut sprachlos gemacht.
Ich liebe es Making of Fotos und Videos zu machen. Sie zeigen anderen, wie ich wirklich arbeite. Ein Blick hinter die Kulissen zeigt so viel mehr als das fertige Foto.
Um ein außergewöhnliches Bild zu bekommen, muss ich (und natürlich meine Models auch) außergewöhnliche Wege gehen. Diese werden aber eigentlich immer mit einem tollen Foto belohnt. Zum Beispiel bei einem Sonnenaufgangsshooting in einem eiskalten Bergsee. Momente die einzigartig sind.
Ich habe schon viele verrückte Fotos gemacht, hatte viele verrückte Leute vor der Kamera, aber ich habe immer noch sehr sehr viele Ideen offen. Seid also gespannt darauf.
Football Stadien sind ein Ort für mich, an dem ich mich immer zu Hause fühle.
Fotografie und Kreativität steckt auch andere an. Ich bekomme zum Beispiel jede Woche neue Spitznamen. Ich fühle mich geehrt und bin amüsiert über all die Kreativität meiner Fans und Unterstützer. Ich bin dankbar für jeden dieser verrückten Namen. Ich schätze alle sehr. Ich habe Namen wie: Sarah Sniper, S(t)arah, Jukebox, Shorty, Smurf, Sarahpy, Queen P, Europe’s most wanted, Little one, Zauberin und viele mehr.
